BRIEF ITINERARY
Day 1, KIGALI: Arrive and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2, KIGALI - RUHENGERI: This morning you will take a short tour around Rwanda's capital city, before driving to Ruhengeri, close to the Parc National des Volcans, home to Rwanda's population of mountain gorillas. (BLD)
Day 3, GORILLA TRACKING: After a briefing by park rangers you will head off in search of the mountain gorillas. One of our closest living relatives, it is thought that there are only about 650 of these magnificent 'gentle giants' left. The trek can be long and tiring but the effort is quickly repaid once in the presence of the gorillas - watching them is an extraordinary experience and undoubtedly one of the great highlights of Africa. Day 4, KIGALI: Travel back to Kigali where the tour ends. (B)
